2013 Accord Coupe Love

Fortunately, when I bought this car, the DISO (dealer installed swirl option) was not included. Over the past two years, I have done maintenance but had yet to take any abrasive to the paint. I figured it was time.

I started with a wash. BTW, curse me now, but I have never used the two bucket method. I prefer just to rinse my wash mitt after I wipe each panel. After the wash, I used IronX. What a let down. I had to look closely for any reactions taking place. It was not because it wasn't working, but because there were few iron particles deposited on my paint. That step was followed by the decontamination process using a fine grade OptiEraser. Then came to polishing. Given the already excellent condition of the paint, I just went with a polish and no compound. I used my PC7424XP with a cyan hydrotech pad and Pinnacle advanced finishing polish. I followed the polishing step with a wipedown using CarPro Eraser (the best smelling CarPro product!).

Then came overkill. I did two coats of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid seal (waited an hour inbetween coats), and then topped that with Fuzion.

My pictures really do not do justice to how it looked. I said to myself after I was done, had I paid someone to do this job, I would have been satisfied with their work (ironic huh?)

Superior work on that Honda, and there is no such thing as overkill its just simply you adding more love, care, etc to the paintwork
