Resurrecting two Freightliner Sprinter 2500s - Pinnacle Auto Detail - CT

I was recently contacted by a local company(please note I have no affiliation with either company) to see if I could help them out with the condition of some of their trucks. The two Freightliner Sprinter 2500s in this post were bought in 2012, had never been detailed and were taken off the road sometime in the past year. The company decided to start using these vans again and didn’t want to have a couple of dull, oxidized billboards driving around CT presenting a poor image for their company. The goal here was to remove the oxidation, bring back the shine and reflection to the paint and thereby avoid having to repaint or wrap these trucks in vinyl. The process for both was an ONR wash, clay for the rear doors (only area where there was really much contamination), HD Speed via an Orange LC light cutting pad on the Rupes 21, Optiseal for additional protection and Meg’s ASD on the tires and trim. The rims were really hammered on both trucks, even full strength OPC wasn’t doing much, but this wasn’t a big deal since the main concern was the paint.

Before (note how dull the paint was- nearly zero reflection):

The second truck had less oxidation and more hard water spots.

Man that's a lot of real estate on those vans. Must have taken a long time.

    Thanks guys!

runrun411- The working time actually wasn't too bad; the yellow one took around 5.5hrs being that it was the first one and had some bad water spots, the white one was around 3.5hrs (ext. only).

    Huge improvement!

Especially since there was all that lettering and what looked like stick on numbers.

I am afraid to use any kind of machine polishing on those surfaces for fear of getting and edge lift and tearing it right off.
