Honda CBR 1000RR Detailed by Etiennč
Having never detailed a motorcycly before, I was extremely excited about this detail Upon dropping the bike off with me I noticed that Ed takes good care of his bike, knowing it'll be a difficult customer so satisfy. The bike was dirty from standing for a week or 2, but in general he bike was a clean example. Plenty of swirl marks in the paint was noted when he dropped it off with me. Upon closer inspection I noticed a ton of black spots on the red paint ( tar spots ).
Before
Ready for a wash
I washed the bike, including all the nooks and crannies. IronX and Tar remover had also been used on the paintwork. Afterwards I clayed all the pannels to ensure that I have the cleanest possible surface to work with. I had to hand polish the entire bike because my Cyclo Dual head polisher is far too big  Here is a 50:50 shot on the tank
50:50
The paint corrected easily by hand. The front black section above the headlights was extremely dull before the polish, luckily I was able to mend that section. After the polish, I applied Soft99 Dark Fusso wax on the entire bike, dressed all the trims (exluding tires and chain), cleaned the Puig screen and mirrors with glass cleaner, treated the 2 seats with Megs Gold Class and pulled the bike out for a couple of snaps
Sit back and enjoy :hi:
After
1 of my Fav shots
As always, feedback is welcome :hi:

The bike looks great although it looked quite clean to begin with. But why are we talking about the bike? That house is sick man. The driveway. The garage doors. The darn palm trees. I really dont like you right now.
