2013 Volvo S60 Winter Cleanup

Hi Everyone,

Recently started buying some products from Autogeek's Amazon store (very happy with the products and service) and thought that I would post some pics and some details of me cleaning up my Volvo S60 after a recent winter storm we had up here in PA.

So I decided that I wanted to change things up a bit and give some of the Zymol products a try. I ended up purchasing Zymol Auto Wash, Zymol HD-Cleanse, Zymol Titanium Wax/Glaze, and Zymol Detailing Spray. Later on I will post some more in depth information regarding each product and what I thought of them, but for now just the steps on the process that I used and some before and after pics.

Step One.
Started out by washing the car down using the Zymol Auto Wash and a two bucket wash system.

Step Two.
Followed that up by drying the car off with a Cobra Supreme Guzzler, of course spraying the car with the Zymol Detailing Spray to help prevent scratches while drying.

Step Three.
After the car was completely dry and clean I then proceeded to use the Zymol HD-Cleanse.

Step Four.
Applied the Zymol Titanium Wax/Glaze.

Step Five.
Waited about 2 hours and then wiped down the whole car with the Zymol Detailing Spray.

Very nice turn around on that Volvo I really seeing that you took that paint work from begin salt cover to a gem keep up the good work

Thank you, dealing with the road salt in PA can be a handful.

Good turn around. My Volvo XC60 looks even worse now and I didn't wash it this weekend. Sigh....

Those pictures were taken about two weeks ago and we got more snow today so my clean car is no more... I will clean it up next weekend.

Thanks, What year is your XC60? How do you like it? I only have about 15k miles on my S60, but so far I love it!!!

It's a 2011 R Design in Black Metallic Sapphire. I like it. The Haldex system does amazing in the snow. Better than the 4 Motion system that was in my Touareg we traded in.

Very Nice, I opted for the FWD S60 as I wanted to maximize MPG... At the time when I did it I was worried about how the car would do in the snow, but I must say that it handles the snow better then my AWD SUV did and better then my brothers Jeep Wrangler and Subaru WRX. I can only imagine how well the AWD system would be.
