    1997 Toyota Supra

Did a correction for a clients car who felt that he had "taken very good care" of his rare low mileage 97 Supra. Before pricing the recon I had him stop by with the car so I could assess it's true condition. As I suspected the car was mess. Swirls, water spots, multiple scratches, wheels covered in baked on brake dust, etc. The interior wasn't as bad but desperately needed a thorough cleaning and the leather needed some attention as well. I informed the customer that I would need about $700-$800 and 12-16hrs to complete the job. He said, "Go for it!" Unfortunately the weather was uncooperative for 4 days straight so I decided to do the job in the customers garage so that he wouldnt have to drive it home in the rain / snow after the recon. His lighting was less than ideal so let me apologize up front for the limited and crappy pictures!

Here is what I started with:

A few pics after wash, clay, and decon:

Here are a few after Menz FG400. I'm still amazed at how such an agressive product can finish out LSP ready!

After a Menz final inspection wipe down and two coats of liquid sovereign at the customers request:

    A few before / after:

Looks nice. I also bought some FG400 for the buff off that we are having lol

I used Wolfgang uber compound to remove 3000 grit after wet sanding it 1000 and up. Man that uber compound is great stuff.

I hope my FG400 is as good...

I've used WG Uber and I can honestly say that FG400 finishes out better with no haze and much more gloss! I'll be using FG400 from here on in!

Nice job. The wheels came out great. They looked silver in the first photo.

Nice! When I get to being an "adult" instead of being a college student I will have to make a very hard decision. Supra or NSX. They are both pretty equal to me and I'd honestly rather own either than a Ferrari.

Sure, I'd love a Ferrari, but I couldn't spend that much on a toy and drive it....I also couldn't spend that much on a car and not drive it.

I'm also in for more pics!

Great job on the scratches, the car looks a thousand percent better.
