Chemical Guys VRP Dressing. I used a brush and IPA to remove the previous wax residue from the trim. The entire paint tape that separates the two colors had wax in it...was a lot of fun.

Great detail. That truck was seriously contaminated before you started. I can only imagine the owner was happy.

Yup...I'm not sure what it meant tho, didn't seem like it was super upgraded.

The horizontal panels left like sandpaper. Zero smoothness. Worst contamination I've experienced to date. That clay is from 1/4 of the hood.

I wonder if one of those nanoskin DA pads would have been the ticket for this detail? Probably would have saved you some sweat.

Truck looks great your really honing your craft. Most 3/4 and 1 ton are abused and beat to death. Any idea on how many miles it had?
I'm just a weekend warrior and never detailed a truck that large. How many labor hours did it take?
