Cars We Detailed at 40th Annual Vettes on The Rockies Event
Hello Everyone,
Last week we had the honor of being the official detailer for the 40th Annual Vettes on the Rockies in Winter Park, Colorado. Over 300 Corvettes from around the country came to mountains for a week of cruises, rallies, auto cross, food, friends, and of course Corvettes. This was also the first time that the 2014 Corvette Stingray was present in Colorado and was shipped out from Detroit specifically for this event.
So what did we do? Well, we detailer Corvettes, lots of them. Of almost every model and body style. We even assisted with the detailing of one of the Stingrays (production number 2) that was being filmed for an upcoming video. In addition to providing detailing services for a fee, we also sponsored the free self-serve car wash for the do-it-yourselfers.
I love detailing any car. But I really enjoy multiple-day events dedicated to a specific brand or car. The passion of the owners is matched by our passion for detailing. It was a great week with some amazing American machines. This was my second year at this event. We detailed over 30 Vettes from simple washes to polishing and claying. And we did it at 9,500 feet above sea level. Needless to say we were tired, thirsty, and sun burned by the end of the event. It was worth it.
So we thought we would share some pictures from the event and show off a bit. Enjoy!
~ Dave

Very cool job!
Nice pics. Love the Sting Ray on the Sting Ray
a bit of advise, get a cart next time to keep your area cleaner looking.
In that last pic all your stuff was on the ground.

Whose buggy was this by the C7's?
That would've been a prime candidate for supplies hauling!

Glad you all liked the post. We had a great time.
As an FYI, the last picture was showing the film crew I mentioned. My team was in the background. The detailing items on the ground belonged to the company who was featured in the film. They are from a well-known detailing company here in Colorado and were filming a how-to video that will be distributed with every Corvette purchased as they are the officially licensed car care product for the Corvette and Camaro. I didn't mention them by name as I am a dealer for them and that would be against forum rules. So the items on the ground at the feet of the camera man were being demonstrated. I am surprised that out of all the pictures some people fixated on a few bottles on the ground under the camera lights.

I also liked how the below photo allowed me to discover a different perspective
between the 2014 Corvette's and the 2014 Camaro's rear-clips/taillights.
We gotta get out there for this Rocky Mountain-event sometime in the near future!!

It is amazing how much of an Adam's junkie I have become...Immediately recognized the products on the ground and the "detailer" being shot for the video.
