    1953 Ford F100 Custom

Ive been waiting to work on this thing all summer. Finally got some time to get to it and it was a lot of fun to work on such a cool truck. Since this is a show truck I wanted to get the paint looking show quality.

This is how I got it. Looks pretty good but the paint was lacking shine up close

    Taped up for a 50/50

    Results

After working lest aggressive first and moving up I needed to go to M105 and orange to get most the defects out and that was followed by M205 and white pad

    another shot on a fender

Working on the hood removing some oxidation.

    The before on the wheels

After polishing with Meguiars All Metal Polish. They were a lot of work to get all those spokes and tight spaces in between.

The interior just needed swept out and wiped down

The afters. I waxed with a sample of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day.

    Thanks for looking,

    Dave

Thanks! The top was chopped. He said they took the front end out of a mustang II. It has a 351 with a 3 speed automatic. It was really fun to drive!
