    My wife's DD

This is my wife's DD a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder with 245,000 miles on it (she refuses to let me get her another car). While she was away for a few days I took off a few days from work and detailed the exterior of her car. I'm sorry I don't have a lot of pics. Or a long story but I will say it took me a long time to finish (and I still have more to do).

    Some clearcoat failure

    I was nicknaming her 'Swirl-a-girl'

    And then

Even in the clear coat failure...

It took a whole lot of hours. Thanks for watching. I promise I'll get better at post and pics and reviews.

She had just got home from a trip to Jamaica with her friends. She was surprised and said "Wow, what a difference". Then she looked at me and said "if only I could get you to help clean house with so much energy".

    Wash: Megs Gold Class Shampoo
    Compound: PB SSR3
    Polish: Pinnacle Total Swirl Remover
    Glaze: PB Black Hole
    Sealant: GG Paint Sealant
    Trim: PB Trim Restorer
    Wheel Wells: CG Bare Bones

I plan to put a coat of PB Nattys Red Wax on it this weekend.

I didn't like the shot of the clearcoat failure so here it is from another angle.

Like I said, I have more work to do on this thing. Where I live there was a lot of pollen in the air so to do the glaze I had to go to the car wash lot where there were no trees (about a half mile away). This car is kind of like my learning curve.
