Amazing and great job. Interestingly enough, I will be working on my wife's 2012 Deep Sea Blue 328i convertible in a week or so. I have one question though because I have some swirls to remove also. What contributed to your decision to go with the FG400 instead of something less abrasive?

Thank you sir. Looking forward to seeing a thread on your wifes BMW.
I did a test spot with FG400 and a blue hybrid light cutting pad and it was giving me just short of a defect free finish. At that point I knew I was going to two step the car so out came the orange heavy cut pad with the FG400.
With my technique of going 6-8 section passes with the FG400 and running the pad throught the pad washer after every panel I am getting the amazing cut from FG400 along with an incredible finish to go along with it. FG400 is my secret weapon so to speak.
I will try and get my pad washer technique written up today.

I might need to get some FG400. The most abrasive polish I have is IP2000, which may not do the trick. Either way, I hope to finish up with either SF-4000 or 4500.
