    Winter Prep for the FX4!

It's been decently nice in the daytime the last couple of days here (50's) and dry so I decided to lay down some protection for the winter on it.

Duragloss 501 RV Polish and Cleaner w/ Duragloss 601 Polish Bonding Agent mixed @ a 4:1 ratio (2oz 501, .5 oz PBA), on a Flex 3401 polisher with a white foam 5.5" LC pad. This was the cleaning step as the 501 has some really good cleaners in it.

I then followed with Duragloss 105 Total Performance Polish and the PBA again, also @ 4:1 ratio (saves time and an application step) with a blue finishing pad on a Griot's Garage DA polisher.

Finally after 12 hours between the first 2, then hit it with Duragloss Aquawax spray wax for the last step. Dressed the tires with Duragloss 253 I think, Rubber dressing. Cleaned the windows with Sprayway aerosol foam.

Any questions please feel free to ask, I think it turned out nicely.

The ecoboost emblems are coming off this weekend and being replaced with the Lincoln MKS little black ones under the front fender 'F-150' badges. I still want to get some 275/65/20 tires very soon though.

Here is a sample, I'll post more in a couple of hours!

Hmm.. what's this in this box? Maybe in a week or two..

    Thanks for looking!

Looks great! Love what you've done to it since you got it, can't wait to see the '13 grille on it.

I don't care for F-150s. But, this one is mighty fine.

Great looking truck, that EB seems to be a great motor. Why the MKS badges?

Thanks! I just don't think that the chrome/silver eco badge fits right now, I think this one under the fender badge is a little nicer:

Thanks - just added the '13 factory HID lights, BIG improvement over the original halogen ones.

Extra points that you know what year that is from! Swapping the insert was what I had planned on first, but there are different 'snaps' and such that require the new surround. Have to get it painted, my fave place is booked 2 weeks out.

Best additions were the line-x and the leveling Bilstein struts I think. Changing from the pirelli tires was kind of a nice upgrade though!

Very nice looking truck. Duragloss products don't disappoint.
