    Thanks!

Don't feel like I was saying 22ple isn't good either, as I'm very happy with it. I just feel its another great offering vs. being a "game changer".

and CQF is for authorized detailers only.

I'm just an enthusiast detailer and have used reg. CQ, Hard Body and 22ple and really like all three. None are bullet proof....some scratch resistance, but not great is my experience.

However CQF suggest doing 2 coats so it does take longer than 22ple....both are simple to use. I currently have several test panels set up with various testing being done (OG, 22ple, CQF and one with Hard Body on it too). I'll reserve judgement until testing is complete but I will say CQF richens/darkens the paint the most and sheets away water noticeably faster than OG/22ple.

Chad, I trust your opinion and will be very interested to hear your results. I have not tried CQF yet, primarily based on the extra cost. I am thinking of either trying it on my wife's Durango or my Lincoln. Do you know if you can top CQ with it or would I have to compound off the CQ? Thanks.

Agreed! I try not to market the scratch resistance much. Instead I say that they releases dirt better, and less dirt on the surface when you go to wash means less risk of marring.

    Thanks Richy!

I'd honestly reach out to Avi or Corey on that one as I've not tried it and don't want to assume anything.

    22ple Pro Coating (20mL) - $60

They're really not that expensive compared to the competition. It was an easy choice for me because I can get it at an even better price, and it was something new that sounded like it would be worth trying. A lot of people are making it sound like an extreme price when it truly is very competitively listed.

I plan to give cquartz a try in the future.

Opti Coat is designed to last the life of the vehicle or until it is abraded off. Based on that, the Opti Coat is less expensive. The other products last a year or two?

As many have stated...after a year or two you'll very likely want to polish out the accumulated swirls and redo, no matter what the coating. If the eventual swirls don't bother you (or the client), then OptiCoat may be a better choice....and sometimes a light Poliseal polish may do without removing much OC. To each his own.
