VictoryRed's Corvette meets Mikes Detail Shop

VictoryRed's Corvette meets Mikes Detail Shop

Well Gentleman this is the Corvette that I made contact with the owner to correct. Anyways the car was in great shape minus the water spotting all over the horizontal panels.

First off I want to thank everyone that recommended me to get this car done and looked me up to help the owner. Also want to thank Mike Phillips for the incredible book that he has put. I can never read that thing enough. And James thanks for letting me take care of your baby.

    Now on to the pics.

    Tires scrubbed with Purple degreaser

    Polish with M205/LC Hydrotech Tangerine
    Blacklight with LC Hydrotech Crimson
    Two coats of Fuzion
    Wheels waxed with D151
Tires dressed with Meguiars Endurance tire shine

    Interior

Car didnt look bad from a distance

Below is the clay from just that one section of paint!

I tried as best I could to capture the defects.

In the below two pictures you can see my 50/50 shot. I couldnt get the image to come out in one shot so I have two.

I didnt get to the interior yet in this picture.

In these outside pictures I forgot to take off the macro lens.... (facepalm)

    Thanks for viewing

Very Nice Mike!!!! the car looks Great!

Were you able to get the owner involved in the process? If not its time for him to learn

Great job the Vette looks stunning!

    Well thank you.

I started the car on Friday as I had the day off. The owner is pretty busy and didnt have much time over the weekend. When he did come to get it I showed him the Fuzion and let him put a coat on.

    If you don't mind Mike...
I'd like to focus on one particular panel

(Knowing full well that the rest of the Corvette is just as beautifully corrected!!)

James can be nothing but well pleased...ecstatic, I'll bet!!

Also...Time to tell his Corvette Forum Buddies of the miraculous recovery
(in the hands of a Pro Detailer, that is) of his 'Baby'...(without wet sanding/re-spray, btw)

Time for me to get the "works" done to my Victory Red Corvette.

HMMM...If only I knew of someone...

Wow thanks for the kind words Bob. I am indeed flattered. I forgot to mention in my original post that it took me close to 25 hours over three days to put that shine on James's baby.

I really like your dedication to thoroughly viewing my post and adding the pictures together to show the differences.

Now you have inspiration to get the "works" done on your Vette

Bright enough to draw the wrong attention from the cops. Even sitting still. Lol
