Re: [Winter prep] Collinite 476s on the civic
Thanks! My Z06 is next! I am fairly certain it'll be getting 105-205 or SIP-PO85RD or Nano(super finish). It needs it.

I like 476 much better than 845. I use it like a wowo wax. I can do my F150 in about 20 minutes and it looks great.

Thank you! Yes, I dig 476s! I think it is becoming my favorite wax. Considering I was a Zaino user since late 1999, I hadn't really used waxes since then.

The paint looks fantastic considering it's 18 years old and has probably never missed a day of work

WickedLou, thanks.
I can't confirm but I'm fairly certain parts have been touched up here and there. It's been VERY good to me in the 14 months that I've owned it. . I got caught in the rain this morning going to work. Those tight, pellet sized beads made me grin heading to work.

Re: [Winter prep] Collinite 476s on the civic
It rained here in CT for four days on and off. The honda is a daily driver. I just washed it for the first time since I waxed it with Collinite. Let me tell, you, it's a beautiful thing The hood wasn't as tight as the rest of the car, but everything else was right on the $. I have it washed and drying now, going to put another quick, light coat of 476s on. We won't have too many days like these left so I am taking full advantage! Also going to wax the jambs which should protect things a bit better there. After this, it's on to my z06. If it's nice where you are, I hope you're enjoying it!! Have a great weekend.

Re: [Winter prep] Collinite 476s on the civic
Just for fun, I applied a little heavier coat to the civic. Just to see if it was any more difficult to remove, I used a 100 percent cotton towel to take the wax off. No difference Easy on, easy off. I think I found myself a new final product! Love how slick the finish feels after it's wiped off. This is good stuff!!
