    F-350 Headlight Improvements

I didn't want to spend the $$$ on new headlights, and I also didn't want to buy a headlight restoration kit. So I got out some of my paint correction tools and gave them a try.

    Products used:

    Pink Mist glass cleaner
    Griots 6" DA
    3M compound on 3" yellow pad 2-3x
    Menzerna PO83 on 3" orange 2x
    Master Formula Sealer Gloss

I also experimented on the chrome, although not the focus of this write-up, with

Menzerna PO83 on 3" orange pad
    Master Formula Metal Gloss
    Master Formula Sealer Gloss

    Here are pics:

    Before

    After

    All Done (with chrome, too)

You forgot to mention - what was your application amount and method for the Michelob Ultra?

I can't remember, but my work looked better after each one. It really is good stuff, but kinda like a glaze, not very long lasting.

Had the same headlights as you.. Upgraded to the 2007 Harley Davidson headlights about 160 bucks total and couldn't be happier. Might want to look Into that in the future. Is it diesel??

Yes it is a diesel with 369K miles...long live the 7.3L ! Honestly the headlights look a lot better than maybe my phone pics show...we'll see how they hold up. I agree there are better headlights out there than these.

It is stock other than a DPTuner. It runs good and I just changed the oil yesterday, too, and it doesn't seem to use much oil...maybe a quart in 6k miles.

At least you run one of the best tuners I have a DP aswell among other things. I have a friend that has 700k on his 7.3 and still trucking, you're only halfway there!
