Hi, I am new to all this dilution stuff. I have Opticlean that I just recieved from AG. For a 3:1 mix using 32 Ounces I am using 8 Ounces of Opticlean, is that correct? Thanks Mark Sent from my Rezound
A 3:1 dilution ratio would be 75% solvent in this case water and 25% active ingredient (OPC) If you want to make 32 ounces of OPC at a 3:1 dilution it would be 24 ounces of water and 8 ounces of OPC.
The ?:1 is always the chemical and the larger is the dilutant. So you are correct. 24:8 = 3:1 But just to confuse you a little more, I prefer Opti Clean at 4:1
Chris, what is the reason 4 to 1? thanks for the quick response guys Sent from my Rezound

I believe the bottle states 3:1 just like everyone is saying.
