    Sully's Detailing: 2008 Maserati

This is a 2008 Maserati we detailed for The Auto Toy Store. This car was given to there previous detailer and lets just say he is no longer detailing for them after he made this a swirled out mess. The dealer wanted to get rid of the holograms, knock down the swirls, and bring back the gloss. So we decided to polish, glaze and, wax this bad boy.

    Products Used:

    Ardex Repo Wash
    2 Buckets w/ Gritt Gaurds
    Detailer’s Pride Clay
Detailer’s Pride Rinseless Wash and Gloss
    Detailer’s Pride Wheel Gel
    1” Boars Hair Brush
    Dayton Speed Brush
    Griots Garage DA
Lake Country Flat 5.5” Pads (White, Grey, Blue)
    Meguairs D151
    Chemical Guys EZ Crème
    Pinnacle Souveran Paste

    Before:

    50/50 Shot

That's a beautiful car and a nice turnaround.

    Wait, D151 and a glaze?

Wouldn't the cleaners in D151 remove the glaze? Otherwise the glaze would just be sitting on top of a wax, and it would just wash off.

Either a glaze or D151 contain fillers which wash off within a few washes so I would have to agree that the glaze would be the first layer to wash off then the D151 after that . From what I understand many of the AIO products contains fillers that's why they look so good after you finished applying them give them a few weeks and you will see the imperfections in the paint again .
