    Detailed Pacifica by IID

Had a complete detail this weekend on a 2005' Chrysler Pacifica. The customer is selling the vehicle and wanted me to prep the Pacifica for the sale.
    Here are some before/after shots:

Interior was pretty dirty and needed vacuuming and shampooing:

    Passenger side:

Counsel was cleaned with OPC and dressed with Pinnacle Vinyl dressing:

    radio and dash as well:

Cup holders (front and back) were this dirty, were cleaned with OPC:

Headlights were very hazy and oxidized,I polished them with Menz PF:

The black vinyl was treated with UTTG:

Wiper cowl was faded and grey, used GTechniq C4 to restore:

The paint was heavily swirled. OHP made quick work of it and finished down well,to get LSP ready:

And finally a coat of Souveran:

I have almost 100 pictures of before and after but I didn't want to bore anyone .

The owner said the vehicle turned out very "Impressive" and gave me a $50 tip

He told me he is picking up a new Lincoln and will bring it by for a New Car Prep Service that I offer.Applying semi-coat (CQ or OC,depending on how hard the clear is) to the paint, Leather guard (GTechniq),and also carpet protectant (prevent stains setting in) in case there is ever a spill.

    Thanks for looking.

    WOW!

What a transformation. I just don't know why most minivan owners just don't seem to take very good care of them, until it's time to sell or turn them in at the end of a lease.

I would have suggested putting a business card in the glove compartment stating that the finish on this vehicle has been maintained by...........
But since it's a minivan you know the next owner will probably not care either.
At least it will look like new on the day they buy it.

Great Job! All around! He may change his mind on selling after that turn around.

    Looks really good!!

The Pacifica is the best handling of "minivans" and was one of Chrysler best cars in terms or braking distance. It also has Chrysler most "breaking" tranny In the snow the AWD will hang the tail out very predictably and very easily, making turning in snow a breeze and much fun on the snow course. On the road course (hi mu) I could keep up and outrun many "cars" and sedans (on the turns of course). They had dual piston front calipers with great pads, very decent Michelin tires, and a Mercedes Benz "derived" 5-link rear suspension. The interior was comfortable albeit not very roomy in the back, and I could pull 12 hour driving stints no problem (from Detroit to the UP). It had HID projectors before any other Chrysler I believe. Too bad it was so darn expensive and probematic!

I am proud to have worked on all these aspects of the vehicle in my career, except of course the trans and interior/lighting depts
