Again hi to all and i will start presenting my work with some older vehicles like this one 94' S10 Tahoe in US , Chevrolet Blazer 4,3 in Europe

Car was in pretty bad shape inside and out, rusted with paint defects all around and i spend around three days to finish

    BEFORE

i'w done some welding , surface preparations , base coat , protection coat , paint and then after that i started with polishing

i wont put all pictures just some from finish

This is a great example of taking a car's finish to it's maximum potential...

Did you cut out the rusted sections and replace them with new sheet metal?

You mentioned in your Intro thread that all you have access to are 3M products, which products did you use on the paint to restore the shine?

Well Mike , first i started with Fast Cut Plus Compound (green ) and wool pad on a rotary because the paint was hard aged , then after that i switched to DA ( rotary is to agresive )in combination with yellow pad and 3M Perfect-it III extra fine polish.
Third pass is same with DA polisher with high gloss pad ( black or blue ) and 3M Ultrafina SE for hologram free finish and removing of traces .
To finish all i put some Sonax Extreme Briliant liquid Nano Pro wax by hand.
All products ( polishes and pads ) was from 3M , except wax.

and now when i see the prices in US on Autogeek i have overpaid this 3M products here in Bosnia , for example 3M Fast Cut Plus here costs around 65 USD for a bottle ( 1 KG )

Here is one of my now regular customer from last summer ( all the pictures are from 2010 because is winter here and everyone is waiting spring and warmer weather to do something with the cars )
It's Audi A6 from 2007 , all done with 3M Perfect-It III line of products except of wax witch is SwissWax Mirage with 40% of pure carnauba ,because here in winter is too much salt and small stones on road and this wax has best possible durability

    let's start with pictures before
