At $2k, I doubt anyone will bite, but you never know. I'm sure there's somebody out there who needs a semi-restored Dodge Daytona to finish their collection of cool 80's sports cars!

Yeah, you never know. He left the mechanics receipt in the car. That's how I know how much it cost just to get it running. Couldn't believe he dropped $2k on getting that thing to run, ha.
He said he wanted it to be a project for his son. But he only had me do the interior. The exterior would be all that's left for his son...and that's one hell of a job to start with I can tell you that much, ha.

There's always Maaco. I recently paid $600 at the local Maaco to repaint one of my cars (97' 3.2TL. Clearcoat failure). The paint job looked cheap and unimpressive, but I knew what I was getting into. After wetsanding the entire car and hitting it with the M105/M205 combo, it looked way better.

Great job Kris! Good idea on that shifter knob. It's better to stop and admit defeat before you make it look worse. Besides it shouldn't be too hard to find an aftermarket replacement shifter even for a Dodge Daytona.
My Versa probably looks better than yours

I agree. That was pretty much my thought process. I didn't wanna screw it up. Them cars in the 80's didn't exactly have the most solid interiors, ha. Thanks man!
