I know it was reformulated recently, not sure if that fixed what you experienced or not.

Not sure. I was going to get some of their polishes too and see if finishing with one of them helps....thought maybe I had some residual oils left behind from M205. I kept wiping and wiping using more than one towel and it just didn't want to level out. I went with OC instead and had ZERO issues.

After talking with some others it sounds like I'm not the only who had that issue either. I'm going to try the C1 again after getting some P1 and P2, but right now OC has never given me any issues and will probably end up being my only offering if C1 doesn't work well next time around.

Would you guys know if the Opti-Coat has the same protective factors as the CQ claims?

No prob Corey. I know Richy prefers CQuartz so that just goes to show you it's all about personal preference.

    Yes! It offers:

    -Better scratch and Mar resistance
-Better release properties (readily sheds dirt and oil)
-Better UV resistance (no yellowing over time)
    -Better gloss retention
-Does not oxidize (will continue to bead water and release dirt for years).

Cool. Let me know how it works for you. Try it on a dark colored car if you can. It was pretty humid in my shop when I tried it too, so that could be a big factor.

I'll order P1 and P2 this week as well as another C1.

I'm going to be removing the Aquartz from my car then applying the C1. Need to try stuff on my own car before using it on customers cars.
