Bottom line: i'd still like to see a t.v. show about auto detailing

im not thinking about auto car shows outside the t.v. box

a show explaining detailing , before n after info.. tips, how to do's, etc:

just a thought, since were all interested in the same thing

This is suppose to be a fun outing and give you a chance to meeting people with your same interest. One show last year a 41 Ford was judge as the most original Ford car with a Chevy engine so the judges are not professionals and some times don’t have a clue. After ever show someone seems to get upset that so and so won a trophy and spouts all the reason why he shouldn’t have won.

Make sure you car is clean before leaving for the show. I always pack a bunch of MF towels, some QD, glass cleaner, spray bottle of water/car soap and one with just distalled water, tire stuff, and a duster. I always make a small sign with the make, model, year, engine size and of coarse the sign “If you aren’t naked please do not lean on my car” A nice cooler with soft drinks and a few chairs. Enjoy!!!!!!

    I agree !!

One your first show , sit back and watch the others. Do all of your precleaning at home. Remember the small area's like the fuel inlet, and wheel barrels. But mostly go for fun. You will have two types, the car nuts and the party people. Get hooked up with the party people early as the day gets hot and tiring unless you have something to pass the time. Remember to ask questions , and most enjoy the hobby and are quick to help.

YES: Called car crazy.......it's more about interesting cars, and how they were restored, and engine add on's etc. Nothing on actual detailing except a plug once in a while for his products...
