Finally got to it!, 2003 Mazda MX5 Detailed :)

Well, I guess you can learn in theory for years but the only way to really learn is to just get out there and do it!
And so, a couple of weeks ago I took 2 days off work to get this baby detailed.
I'm talking about my 2003 Mazda MX5, never had a polish applied to her poor girl, I got her 2.5 years ago and started learning right here in the Autogeek forums all I needed to know.

    Well, the process was:

    Wash:
    Pinnacle bodywork shampoo
    The Shmitt
    Pinnacle Foam Gun

    Claying:
    Pinnacle ultra poly clay
    Pinnacle clay lubricant

    Polish:
    Porter cable 7424
Menzerna super intensive polish + CCS 5.5 inch orange light cutting pad
Menzerna super finish (nano) + CCS 5.5 white polishing pad

    Paint sealant:
Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0

    Wax:
    Wolfgang Fuzion wax

Well, that was the process now for the pics, I don't any BEFORE pics but I do have 50/50 and After Photos so here you go:

Claying, at first I thought this was Bad!

But then I got This!!!, Yikes!

Here we go, all taped up and ready for polish!

After claying, this was what I needed to remove:

Halfway there, here is a 50/50:

After all the work I put on the paint sealant and let it cure for the day, I came back the day after and put 2 coats of Wolfgang fuzion wax, let each cure for 45 minutes before wiping off.
When I was done the paint was as smooth as silk, here are the end results:

And in the daylight (sorry about the windows being dirty, this was a couple of days after:

So, what do you guys think?

    P.s.
Here is a little video of the 50/50 process :

    Waiting for comments guys

Nice work, a successful first time indeed, now go clean you windows! J/K. Video is the best way to show a 50/50 IMO.

Well, the thing is guys, this is not my car anymore
About a week after doing this detailing a guy saw the car and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Was it the car itself?, was it the paint glowing after the Fuzion wax?, I'll never know, but it didn't hurt to have the paint look brand spankin' new
