Here are a few recent jobs I have done.

1956 Chevy Belair. This was a light paint correction and wax job. I also had to do some light over spray removal. The owner wanted it to shine a little more before he sent to the auction. I could not get any outdoor pictures because of the 40-50 mph Kansas winds, and my client wanted it to stay dust free before the auction.








Cadillac. This car was needing a little love to help it sell, so I did a wash, clay and wax, detailed the engine bay, dressed tires, and repaired a windshield rock chip.

Windshield Repaired, not completely invisible, but it won't spread. After


Mustang tail light restoration, these lights had some sort of "tint" on the exterior and the dealership tried to remove it and caused some scratches. So, I wet sanded, buffed and applied a UV sealant.

After, not all scratches came out, but it was a good improvement



Ford F-150 headlight restoration. For some reason these plastic headlights took forever to wet sand, and they were scratched badly.

After, full wet sand, buff and UV sealant applied.



Not sure why but the drivers side lights turned out better than the passenger side with the scratch removal.

Oh yeah, I forgot to show my new detail cart. I bought this 3 shelf metal cart at Harbor Freight, I think it was about $45 on sale. It was a good deal, its very handy if you are mobile, and fits in my work van easily and is not too heavy. I attached a flourescent light on the side, and it can be removed and hung on each of the carts shelves and each side too. I may add some brighter lights soon when I can find some I like.

Of course it's hard not to love the 2-Tone Green 1956 Chevrolet Belair.

And I love your detailing cart, I've been meaning to build something just like it but there's just never enough time in the day.

I might even dress the cart up with some decals or something too.(Auto Geek, Meguiars, Wolfgang, etc..) Harbor Freight sold some more carts similar that were bigger, but I like this size of it for me and its sturdy. Its very handy when you are working your way around the vehicle, especially with the light attached. Alot of times I am working in a shop with bad lighting. I will eventually try some LED lighting attached to the cart as well. Halogen lights get way too hot, IMO, for them to be attached to the cart, especially when they are right next to chemicals and cleaners. Does anyone know of any good lighting system I could try or experiment with for this cart?

Beautiful work. The '56 was a terrible color, but what a gorgeous car!! The engine bay of the silver Caddy was horrible! You turned that one around big time. Great work on the headlights and tail lights. The tail lights looked absolutely amazing.

I love your cart, too. I really need to get one.

Thanks. I did not care for the color scheme of the 56, but it looked good and was in really good shape.
The owners of the caddy live in the country and the engine had never been cleaned.
I just got a flyer from harbor freight with that same cart and its on sale for $39. Not sure if you have one of those stores in your area.

Great job...what kind of UV sealant did you use?

Thanks, I am still using the spar urethane method. But I have located some new headlight sealant that I may try, if and when this sealant fails and disappoints me. I am still testing its durability and its life span.
