    Dad's work truck!

Well I told my dad Id do his car and truck for him so I started on his truck this weekend.
I'll do the car some other time as it will take a lot more work.
I didn't do a perfect job here one cuz he told me not to and two because this is his work truck and probably wont get washed now till spring.....
About the pitchers I had forgot my camera and ended using a disposable camera for these photos and they are really bad but you still get the hint.

1 washed sheepskin mitt 2 Megs #83 with green edge pad
(the megs gave me a lot of problems didn't want to come off the truck at all but I did have to use it in full sun.)
    3 wax with megsNXT
I did the interior to but didn't get pics it wasn't as bad as the outside but still pretty bad.
I'll be doing his car next that ill hit with the yellow edge pad and Megs heavy cut (the car is real bad)
I will be doing my X with
DP shield sealant and natty blue I'll let you know how that goes too

This was my first detail with the 7424 and man was I tired when I was done.........I don't see how some of you guys do 2 and 3 cars a day...........I'm getting tired just looking at these photos and remembering ........I'll think I'll go to bed now.

Good job. I always like to see how nice a badly cared for red paint job can come back to life with a little bit of effort. I find the 7424 to be rather easy to work with and not tiring at all. Maybe it's your technique? Dunno.

Great job!! Big difference in that hood shot. You turned a pink truck into a red one.
I know how you feel. I was pooped after my 1st detail with the PC too. Went to bed taking 2 Aleve! LOL.

    Outstanding job!
Megs #83 dose a great job, to much dust for me, I have like a gallon of it. Started using XMT 3 and PBSSR 3, less dust. You said you had a hard time getting it off, remember to work the polish in, and use an spray QD on an MF should come off better.

And yas sparkie I have some xmt 1 and 2 i"ll be using on my X. If it works out good I'll probably sng some xmt 3 to use on cars next year. And yea your right I did end
having to use QD to get it off. It was a horrible pain in the butt.
