Re: 2019 Kia Sportage - First Wash In 8 Months

Looks very nice, and in my head it was far worse for no cleaning in 8 months.

I really like those hose guides and use them on 90% of my details. I use hoses all day in my job as a nurseryman, kinked or snagged hoses drive me nuts. If I'm in a hurry, I'll skip them and just deal with the hose.

In terms of them being a time waste, I was in the same frame of mind until I discovered they fit into my detailing seat.

Like many I assume, I start on the wheels, seated in my case. Having the hose guides on hand means as I simply grab one from the slide out drawer and slot them into place as I roll from wheel to wheel. Simple and convenient. And no snagged hoses!

No decontamination for this detail. No doubt a worthwhile step, but I don't believe the owner would notice if I had.

For protection, CarPro Hydr02 topped with Bead Maker.

Keep in mind paid details are a side job for me, the few jobs I get are from people who just want their car "cleaned" so my price reflects this. I therefore appreciate the time saving aspect of no decon and the combo of Hydr02 and Bead Maker. The end result is a still clean and shiny car and a happy customer.
