I'd bet the farm that panel was repainted at some point. There also appears to be a color mismatch of that panel (indicating a repaint) in this pic.

What a restoration of this vehicle. Amazing how vehicles are allowed by the owner to be this neglected. Great save.

Thanks 2black: I didn't get any info as to if it had any previous body/paint work. Interesting observation! Now I wish it were still here so I could look at that passenger side again! Those defects were on the passenger side only: front fender--beyond where the PPF was, it's been removed and you can see the line. Front and rear door tops and a bit on the rear fender/quarter tops. ONLY those areas. It was very strange.
PTG readings were consistent with the panels. Just weird!
