So my new to me 2020 Subaru Legacy had a tough first part of life. 15k miles of what I’m guessing were weekly tunnel washes. Not to mention what I assumed were a million rock chips on the entire driverside of the vehicle. I had a little time to kill before work and wanted to start addressing the “rock chips” with my Dr ColorChip kit. I washed the car Saturday and wasn’t terribly worried about marring as I knew I was going to correct the paint. So first up was to soak the two door panels in Eraser and let dwell for 5 min.

Wiped off eraser and grabbed my clay bar.

Raw paint inspection….

Plan of attack was G15/GR3 Boss orange pads and Fast Correcting cream, followed by Boss yellow pad and perfecting cream. This Subaru paint was so soft it took no time at all!

Plan to do the entire car this weekend followed by CQuartz UK and Gliss.
The “rock chips” I alluded to…NSFW LANGUAGE WARNING!!!! This was sent to a buddy of mine without thought of sharing it, I was really excited that it was clear coat blemishes and not missing paint.
