    Customer Detail

My customer and dear friend asked for a detail of a 2000 Mustang GT convertible. He bought this car for his wife and he wanted it to shine.
Paint correction was with Griots G9 and 3D Polish+. It was finished with Wolfgang DGPS. I cleaned the vinyl top with Megs D101 and a soft brush. I finished the top with Wolfgang vinyl top protectant and it made it look like new.
The interior was treated with 303 and the seats were coated with Gyeon Leathershield. My customer was happy and his wife was happy.

You did a great job on the car, especially in the heatCustomer DetailNow I'm pretty good with my cars but is that a "real" GT? I ask because those wheels look smallish and there's no hood scoop? Also all that "stuff" added to the car throws me off Customer Detail

He purchased the car online through some Mustang website. He paid $9000 plus $500 shipping. It looks like a GT. The car only has 60,000 miles and the paint was in really good shape.

I thought about but I didn’t pack it my tool totes. I had Wolfgang DPGS and 845. I also did an iron removal step and a clay bar step. I was amazed that the car had very little contamination on the paint.

IIRC, 1999 to mid/late 2000 GT's didn't have a hood scoop until the 2001 Bullit came out and then all GT's came with the hood scoop.
