Beautiful car, and as always, beautiful work.
But I gotta ask - How do you pay $51,000.00 for a paint option and then accept it with a need for polishing? I would think that a "as near perfect as possible" finish should be expected of a 51K paint option. Not one that needs to go out to be polished.

Stunning, and your work is incredible. I'm surprised he didn't have PPF put on before the coating given the price of the paint option.

Thanks all.
Yep, I hear you 2black. I know that with any 'custom' car/paint/etc, you are going to have some degree of defects, but...
Also, I don't think that many people would go to an extreme degree to look for any defects. I just don't know!
You should have seen the wheels...they were an 18k option, painted the same as the body and needed some loving.
C5: He just doesn't like PPF. I'm still going to try to convince him to get it done on this, due to, just as you said, the special paint...it would be near impossible to touch up/match.

As usual, wonderful work.
But I had the same thoughts as the others - why no PPF and how do you pay/they charge 51k for a paint job that has swirls and worse that are so very obvious?
I guess I just don't understand some people's logic. You just gotta know that there will be at best small pings and dings from the road debris. Does he think that the PPF will look worse than that car will/if he gets those little pings or worse a scratch? Oh, well I guess it must be nice to have that kind of money, where those things are not a concern.

I think I want to come back as "Sizzle Chest" in my next life. Ridiculously cool car to get the opportunity to work on.
