    1967 Camaro.

My next project within next couple weeks.

This is a 31,000 miles barn find. All original from South Carolina.

    Been garaged since 1986/87!

Current thoughts as of now, subject to change, is to perform the following:

    1. Combination of waterless and rinse less wash.

    2. Go straight to Blackfire One Step with CBEAST and Rupes yellow pads.

As of now, probably won’t be doing the megs #7. But will see once I clean and test paint. My gut says it’s that hard single stage enamel paint.

I can not wait to see how this thing turns out......you get the coolest cars to work on...what are your plans for those wheels/hubcaps?

    Briarpatch,

Thanks and yes, I'm blessed to have an owner that owns a classic muscle shop that likes the work that I do and trusts me to touch his customer's cars.

As for those hubcaps....I have no idea yet! Lol. Don't know if they can be saved or not. There is a thin film of varnish on the stainless behind the spokes! Spokes are tight together where one can not get fingers in between!
In addition to narrow spokes---there's wrinkled black paint alongside the varnished stainless. Kind of stumped at the moment.

I'll probably need to pull the caps off and see if I can take it apart.

What's under the hood, Tommy? 327?
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

    My all-time favorite GM smallblock.

Would be either a 200HP or 275HP variant in the Camaro.

I like the L76 (365HP) and L79 (350HP) flavors of the 327. Both have 2.02 heads, 11:1 with forged, domed aluminum pistons, factory aluminum "snowflake" intake, etc. Major difference is the L76 has a solid lifter cam vs. hydraulic for the L79.

Have had both in C2's and I would take the L79 with an M21 all day long, those motors were just "Born to Run".
