Wow you got lucky and scored the new model with ABS and the badging to match. Ah the things we take for granted today. Oh, incredible work!!!!

Pretty cool! Super low mileage! Should keep running longer than the rot/rust allows it to be driven! Nicely cleaned up/restored into a neat driver! Way to score that and get it back on the road! Cool project.

Grand Am was a big seller for Pontiac. As the Cavalier was to Chevy. I never thought i would see Pontiac go. I owned a 82 Trans Am and 87 Fiero 6cyl.

Had a 93' SE with the 3.3L 3300 MPFI V6 and it ran like a champ. Traded it in on my first L67 powered 97GTP which is where my pdqgp nickname came from. For those that aren't old enough.....PDQ is Pretty Damn Quick and GP for Grand Prix. Ran 14.6 at 99mph which for a four door sled back then was pretty good.

Me either, but Pontiac made cars, and cars are dead. Now everything is a compact SUV, mid size compact SUV, etc.

How many times can GM essentially recreate and rebadge the equinox into larger or smaller shapes and forms?

How effing boring have vehicles become?!

No. 82 was the body change on the Trans am. Like Knight Rider. 305. It was fun. Enjoyed it back then. Fiero was a blast to drive and own.
