    finally water spots gone

    I been complaining about water spots for a long tine....I tried vinegar today with no luck...looked for my clay bars LOL no luck couldn't fine them...so I tried blackfire one step and wow water spots gone.......then I used BK SIO2 paint sealant....I am a happy man....LOL I washed the car first

    Neither one of those products will stop water spotting. Glad that you temporarily got rid of them.

    Are you parked near some sprinklers?

    Rsurfer...at first it was a sprinkler....then I bought a sprinkler guard and took care of that problem....I coated the car....went through all the steps to do the coating..We have a one car garage so my car sits outside all the time...do you have any suggestions ....also I live in fl....

    Should have grabbed the buffer first, easiest method that is guaranteed to get it done.

    I should of mentioned that I used a porta cable buffer with the one step

    But if you ceramic coated the car and now used the buffer with One Step, the coating is gone on those spots. As long as that's ok with you, it's fine.

    Depending on how bad the etching is, even One Step won't remove it and you'll need more aggression. Thankfully it seemed to be enough for your water spots.

    An SiO2 spray sealant is not the same as a coating. If you do decide to use a coating..I would go with CQuartz UK3.0 and top with Gliss.

    I do realize the coating is gone and that was ok with me....the BF one step Did remove the water spots...as I mentioned I did use BF coating and it didn't stop the water spots...someone said to use Cquarts and gliss...someday I will try that

    For real. I'm all for the least aggressive method but there's times I just *know* it's time for a cleaner/wax. Granted these cars don't sport anything special because of this.
