    2017 Shelby GT350 and the Dr Beasley's NSP Z1

Completed this a couple days ago.

My take? - Pure freaking awesome!

Gloss and Sheen is off the charts!
    Correction almost 100%

As you know-white paint, any white paint is super hard to cut.
This polish took out about 80% of the scratches and 100% of the swirls!

I did only 4 and up to 5 section passes at moderate arm movement. I was a bit light on counting my passes and not being consistent with the count.
Also was a tad quick on the arm movements too.

In sum, was I was loose and fast.

Removing the Z1 was a hit and miss for me.

1/3 of the car, product was super, super easy to remove. Polish, wipe and done!

For the rest 2/3 of the car, product became sticky and tad bit harder to remove. In many cases, I just ran the buffer over the sticky spots for the 2nd time and then the
product became super easy to remove. (Suspect my technique is the cause).

    Bottom line? It's a keeper!

Correction and ceramic coating all in one step? Yes..Yes..Yes..

    On to pictures.

    Before correction.

Re: 2017 Shelby GT350 and the Dr Beasley's NSP Z1

    Seriously!

I did receive a complaint from customer!

He said, "Geez, my eye kind of hurts a little looking at it".

    This was outside in sun.

I am very happy with the end result and the product.
I need to address my technique.

    Customer is ecstatic beyond words!

Thanks to Mike for sending me the Z1 to try out!
Thanks to the Dr Beasley organization for making an outstanding product.

    You're right... looks freaking amazing!

    How did you find wipe-off?

Did the weather change any or were you working in the evening? I noticed when testing out the DP polishes, they are really sensitive to humidity. The higher the humidity the shorter the working time and more difficult they are to remove. Last time I use it, a thunderstorm rolled through in the middle of the vehicle I was working on and the product became rather sticky like you describe.

Over all, where would you put the cut on this product? Is it like a mid-grade polish/swirl remover? Pad dependent?

Will you ever see this car again? Curious about the durability and whether it will live up to the claims.

Sorry for all the questions, but this product has really caught my attention. The claimed durability solves the one issue which keeps me from using AIOs on my vehicles.

Re: 2017 Shelby GT350 and the Dr Beasley's NSP Z1

    Thanks Mike...

Wipe off was bit hard and sticky at times. Took the buffer and just did a couple light passes over the sticky polish. Then wipe off became easy.

Twice, gotten hard where buffer trails were still present and I could not remove. Again---took the buffer and did couple light passes--bam, easy wipe off.

In many cases---wipe off would be easy for the most part but there would be a slight film left. Had to work the towel a bit harder to get that last piece of polish off!

The above reminds me of the Meguiar's 205. Had the same issue. Smooth and slick at one time and then sticky and hard other times.

In both cases, I believe both products uses diminishing abrasives ( not sure tho---need to double check).

I find it to be a bit of a challenge using SMAT polishes for me. This leads me to think I need to spend more time getting a handle on using SMAT stuff.

    Oh...oh...forgot one more thing.

    1. CBeast
    2. Pixie
    3. McKee's Redline polishing pads
    3. Z1
    4. Gray supreme 530 microfiber towels for removal. (Found this towel to work best against sticky polish, not the yellow ones).

    Desertnate..

Let me stew on this a bit.

At the time: weather was beautiful and humidity low.

Oh I'll see it often. Forgot to do the water test. Will ask owner to do a video of the test.

I just love concept--correct and ceramic all one sweep!
I'll be using this often---will get good idea with time.

Re: 2017 Shelby GT350 and the Dr Beasley's NSP Z1

    One interesting thing...

Accidentally touched the windshield with my pad. Kinda forgot about it until the next day.

Saw the smudge on the glass. Proceeded to wipe off---What! It was stuck hard on glass and the product was hard as well. Glad to see this! Tells me it's the real deal ceramic coating!

Had to give it some muscle and a very hard rub to remove the polish.

First picture showing polish left on overnight.
Second and third---trying to wipe off the polish.
Fourth and last picture---Polish still on the glass!
