Lifted Jeep Wrangler Turns Mall Crawler

So a friend and repeat customer of mine Steve, bought this super nice Jeep back in 2016 and had me correct the paint and seal it up back then. 32k+ miles and about 4 years later it was time to move on and get it cleaned up for sale so the new owner would be able to enjoy it from day one. It's off to Florida later this week but for now it was mine for one day.

For this detail Steve opted for my Basic Polish & Protect. It's one step-up from the Prep for Sale and while not considered a paint correction, the product I used combined with the proper pads got it back to 100% perfect without much trouble. Clearly the vehicle hasn't been off road and his wife uses it as a daily mall-crawler keeping it garaged and cleaned at nearly all times.

Overall it came out great. Fully corrected and while Jeep Wranglers don't have the clearest paint, this one turned out pretty good for what the vehicle allows. Gloss is definitely there and the metallic flake really POPS! when the sun is out. Today was a great day for it.

Tackled with both a Rupes Mille and Yellow Pads and a Flex 3401 and Orange Hybrid Force Pads. Product used was a great standby HDSpeed. Vehicle was then wiped down with Beadmaker to really provide it a slick feel.

    Onto the show!

Thats a good looking jeep right there. I like the color and the big wheels. I've been on the fence about getting something like that but i'm told the gas mileage and road noise are really bad. Like really bad. But still I like how mean it looks. Great job on that detail.

Wow, that metallic POPS for sure!

Awesome Wrangler. I like those "angry Jeep" cowlings too.

    Lol.

I posted my spray on tire stuff in Unpacking Pics a few days ago. And yup, they are for the wife's Gnarly Wrangler tires. Lol

Nicely done! Jeeps are a little tough to do due to all the different angles, latches, etc. Looks great!

Should be an easy sell with the accessories and condition you applied to it. What did you use on the undercarriage?

Undercarriage cleaned with APC and power washer. Meg's Hyperdressing gives it a decent pop and clean look as good as anything. It's all for looks really given anything used is going to get messed up once it's in inclement weather.

He is parking this as of yesterday in a garage. Won't be seeing anything but indoors until sold.

    Mall crawler

I don’t get out much, never heard that before.

Nice work and I could never own a lifted vehicle. I’d spend way too much time cleaning the frame, suspension, and all the other easier to access undercarriage bits.

Never detailed a Wrangler other than washing one. Never thought about how much would go into it.

Similar to detailing motorcycles so many angles and areas to access. And like MC’s, Wrangler owners always have so many accessories!
