I have used those multiple times over the years. Saves a lot of hand work. Coupled with a good chrome polish...worked well for me

Will the tip get into the corners where the spoke meets the rim/lip?

Yes it did for me. Can't say that it would for every wheel design though

I have. I also have the red one that is made up of the tiny little portions of foam. Little pricey for what they are but they work well. Depending on your OCD level, you may still need to touch up corners and other areas with a smaller polisher or by hand. I use my Rupes Nano Long Neck for wheels a lot.
