Still Chewing But We Raised Some Cash!!!

    Hey Family Autogeeks.

In reference to this thread - Almost Bit Off More Than I Could Chew ...

A little after 7am this morning we had the trailer loaded up with Raffle prizes & hitched to the family wagon & the Details Bug warming up in the early morning sunshine ready to depart to The Roadhouse Breakfast & our hosting place for our fund raiser.

Here are some pictures from the day - except some from the Cruise at the end . . . . I did something weird with the camera on the phone & they looked weird. We had over 100 cars on the Cruise though, bright blue sky, a balmy 20°c (86°f) & a great 60+ mile round trip route . . . Great fun.

Awesome turnout for our little town, I believe we got 225 cars & bikes to the Breakfast & I simply ran out of time to keep taking photos.

As for the money we raised for SANDS, we’re very happy to have a $2540 cheque to write out for the Organisation.

An enjoyable day out, with a fantastic result . . .

Thank you all for the support, kind words & ridin’ along today.

    Aaryn NZ.

    VERY cool!!

    What a great turn out!

I will always be a Mopar guy, but the AMC Javelin was a different (and dare I say cool) looking car.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

This was a stunning example too. I hadn’t seen this car before & unfortunately never caught up with the owner.

    Cheers PaulMys.

Very pleased with the numbers that turned out. That Javelin is 100% original too, I think I recall talking to the care taker of it saying that it has been in the family since new. Cool car. There is a sweet AMX around here too that is a very nice example.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate it my friend.
