01 WS6 Trans Am gets revived!!!

Had the pleasure of working some magic on the bone stock 01 WS6 Trans AM. The paint was hurting and really needed some serious correction work.

Wheels/Tires- Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, LATA, Hyper Dressing

Engine bay- LATA, Foamed with Hyper wash, Hyper Dressing

Correction- Damp Sanded with 3m 8000 grit trizact using Rupes Duetto/Swirl Killer mini

Polishing- BOSS G21/Swirl killer mini- Menzerna PF2500, Mckees orange foam pads

LSP- IGL Poly 1 year coating

Wow! Nice save for some lucky owner.

You have all the fun --> One of a kind. All Original 5k mile 79 Big Block Silverado!!!!

I've detailed a couple of these cars with the factory paint and found the paint to be a more on the hard side than the soft or medium side, what say you?

Your assessment is right on. Medium or harder side.

Looks awesome, an absolute icon of a car right there. And dang does it sound weird saying 8,000 grit wet sanding lol. What is LATA?

BTW I remember those Goodyear Eagle F1 tires were on everything back in the day. They always look super wide from the back (275s look like a 305 or 315).

Love the Goodyear F1s. Thought they were the coolest tire back then. LATA is LAs Totally Awesome. It's a degreaser.
