2016 Mustang GT - aka "Ms PURRRDY", get's the Business

So a friend of mine from a racing forum I'm a part of picked up a new Stablemate for his other vehicles few months back. It's a great looking 2016 GT that he's since done a few things with including some wrap and exhaust work.

Anyway, his plans for the car were to get it cleaned up and coated so that going forward it would be easier to clean. It was loaded with swirls but the good thing is white tends to mask them and he wasn't so much concerned with that aspect of it as he was the cleaning ability going forward. The swirls that were present are what causes the finish to NOT "pop" or reflect like well so diminishing them considerably would not only help the overall appearance, but when it comes to coatings, one of the key aspects to having a hydrophobic dirt and water resistant property is to level it out as best possible. No different than any surface but important here when it comes to cars that are exposed to lots of contaminants.

All that said, we opted for the following:

    • Premium Enhancement Polish
    • CarPro Cquartz UK 3 and Gliss v2
    • GYEON's Q2 TRIM Coating
    • PLe's Glass Coating
    • Meg's Hyperdressing on tires

Later on I'll add a cold start video as the owner absolutely nailed the exhaust. This one sounds awesome and without being too loud and no rasp.

Anyway, off to the pics because she is looking "PURRRDY" ---> That's their license plate

The gloss black wheels look great on this car regardless of what us as detailers typically think of them as it relates to cleaning/care

The trim coating will not only keep it's dark look as if it was freshly dressed but will help shed the bugs, etc. better.

    Reflective Surfaces Baby!

In my garage for the night awaiting Pick up on Sunday

Thanks again to my friend for trusting in my work. He too is a vendor on our racing forum site and has over the years set the standard for service and reliability there and I am aiming to follow in those same footsteps!

    Thanks for viewing!

Those white and black ponies really do it for me. Excellent work. The black tail panel looks how it should. Can't wait to hear the exhaust video, it's easy to mess up when choosing an exhaust.

We must have the same taste. That exhaust sounds great. Tone > volume. So what’s the exhaust setup?

nice work. I have those same wheels and they're a pain to keep clean. I use at least three different size brushes to maintain them. they do look purrrdy when they're clean. having those large brembo brakes creates a lot of dust.
