    Generally speaking...
    “Sailplanes” are examples of
    aerodynamic efficiency.

    More specifically...
    In the case of this type of sailplane:
    It’s mostly for aesthetics (although purely
    subjective, IMO); supposedly meant to tidy
    up the mid-section area of the pickup.

    And just like tides...
    Their popularity in the USA ebbs and flows.

    You’re all on the money, the Holden Colorado is a converted Chevrolet Colorado, imported by Holden and fully reengineered and converted under licence by Walkinshaw Performance in Melbourne.

    And of course, you’re on the money with that detail too Aaryn.
