Re: 72 Avanti II - Pinnacle Souveran Jeweling Wax and Pinnacle Paste Wax
Pinnacle Souveran is the only wax I use on my 2002 Avanti.
It turns out we're just a few miles apart...you're in Germantown and I'm in Frederick.

Awesome!!!
I'll let owner know about this.
He lives in Laytonsville.
He going to be happy to know that you only use Pinnacle Souveran on your car too!
At first, we were going with a coating.
As we were discussing the plan, learned that he enjoys polishing his cars.
At that point, I decided to advise against going with a coating for the time being. It just didn't match up with what he would like to do.
The owner agreed with the idea and decided to hold off for another time and see how the wax works out for him.
Sure--I lost ton $$$ but as a detailer, but I felt it was my duty and my responsibility to listen and to match the detail with his personality and interests.
I am SO glad we changed course and went with Pinnacle!!!
Thank You for posting. Your car is just stunning!

Tom, how would you say the cut of the Jeweling wax was compared to Speed?
MP did some reviews of this AIO and it impressed me with the cut he got from it.

The paint looks AMAZING Tom!
Thanks for sharing your work. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Pinnacle Jeweling Wax. I showed my last May class the Pinnacle Jeweling Wax on the super soft paint on a 2016 Bentley Flying Spur and it looks just as good.
Even more - thanks for doing your research and then selecting our 3-day class to attend. It's always rewarding to see all the cool cars you detail and then share with others.

I don't really know. Maybe about the same---maybe edge to pinnacle in terms of gloss factor.
I've always reached for Speed if high gloss and reasonable cut was needed.
Not sure, gut says maybe this Pinnacle will knock off speed. Not sure tho.
Maybe a side by side be good thing to do.

Tom, amazing car and fabulous work. You certainly get to play with the nice toys, but then again that is a testament to your work.

Damn! You mentioned it was wet sanded and compounded twice before coming to you!? They should have just given it to you directly after the painter and let you handle the rest.
What a turnaround Tom. Well done. You really showed your talent. Thanks for sharing.
I agree, what a beautiful color to work on. Nice choice in LSP's. I would have done something like that as well.
