2014 Allroad surprising results
I've done a few Audi/VW's, including my own, and as you all know they typically have tough clear coats. My buddy Fred got this Allroad this past fall and we'd talked back and forth about me doing a ceramic job on it. It wasn't bad, but there were some tough spots especially one that looked like someone had used a terry cloth towel to remove what I assume was bird poop. My plan all along was to use a MF pad with CarPro's fast cut compound as I knew that's a tried and true way of knocking down the blemishes.
The bad spot that I assumed was a towel mark with pressure.

Then I took a step back and wanted to try the maroon Uro-Tech medium cut pads with just CarPro extreme gloss enhancer, go a little softer on the cut and see what happens. Did a test spot...

I couldn't believe it! I finished the rest of the car with this combination of pad and product, which left it near perfect. I did chase it with the gloss enhancer pad with the same product, then topped with Cquartz UK.
I'll let the pictures do the rest, the owner was blown away. He said he never expected these results which makes it even sweeter.

Way to think outside the box and step back and start off with a less aggressive combination. It worked out very well. The results speak for themselves.
Now about that allroad....
