Aww the sounds from the very high rpm wankel engines is so great! A very good friend of mine had a Mazda 5 -77. He got a newly build wankel in it after he bought it. Helped him a lot with the audio system. This was in the late 90s. When rev them up and comes to 5000rpm and you normaly wants to shift gear and you let it loose and keep rev it LOL. That's just awesome. And this Fursty when drifting I can only imagine the feel and sounds when driven.

Thanks for shareing this awesome car with us Aaryn! The blue color looks dripping wet

    Thank you Tony my friend.

Awh Geeze mate, you’re making me want to own one again! I’ve had a couple of Rotaries & they can be infectious for sure, such a fun engine to drive. Appreciate you taking the time to comment Tony!

Yeah, it’s a fun machine for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Maybe because of the history of the car itself, maybe because of the Single Stage paint or perhaps the combination of the two but either way - I enjoyed this one.

    Yup! He’s done some skids.

    2. Wonder what Fursty would be like with a barra under the bonnet? Don’t know but I know what it’d be like in a 4 door Toyota.

    Awesome! Thank you Misterpaul.

Great video clip! I wanted to post up a video but had no idea how to go about that!

All in all, taking into account that this car gets thrashed like this more often than not, it cleans up really nice. This was the first time seeing any sort of polishing since it rolled out of the paint booth & it was pretty good. Missing a bit of paint around the rear wheel arches for some reason though.
