Thanks for the comments everyone! Yes, the dealer 'fixed' it and did that damage. They attempted to remove some scratches/etc...

It turned out great Scott!! Always amazed at how much damage dealerships do to cars. That solid black Camaro paint is usually pretty soft, was that the case with this one?

I would've guessed it had metallic in it, maybe in a perfect world I'd PRAY for metallic black paint only!

    Thanks guys!

Dave, it was medium. Not too hard like a lot of GM clear.

Klasse: I too thought it had some metallic or pearl in it after I did my test spot and checked it out closely under my lights. I am still curious, so I'm going to research this paint to see!

    Wow! Holy Cow!

What did they do to that poor thing!? How do they not see it? Or do they simply not care?

Absolutely incredible turn around Scott, you really done it justice. I'm a sucker for red belts! Are they factory rims Scott? Rather nice looking rims too.

Fantastic post my friend, awesome write up, superb pictures & phenomenal results - thank you for sharing.

Thanks Aaryn, yes, they are factory wheels. They did a good job with them! Me too, I like 'different or fancy' interiors. And colored belts get me everytime! I don't think the dealer saw nor cared about what it looked like after their 'repairs'. A shame...
