Blackfire One Step - Amazing Results 2017 MB c-Class
Folks,
New to the forum, but not new to the world of detailing. This thread is a review of Blackfire One Step. I had the privilege last month to take Mike Phillips 2-day Road Show Class in Windsor, NJ. Each student was given bottle of Blackfire One Step. In the class we used the One Step as part of the Production Detailing portion. During the fourth of July, I traveled back to my parents place in NY, and tested it out on my Mom's 2017 MB C-Class Coupe.
The car has typical swirl marks from Mom taking it to the local car wash and from the dealership, when I’m not around to wash the car. I followed Mike's protocol for a one step, I used a Lake Country White Foam Polishing Pad (forced pad system) on my Flex 3401. For smaller panels, I used my Flex 3" with a Lake Country white polishing pad. It did an exceptional job of removing a majority of the swirls and water spots. Mike recommends using a polishing pad for one-steps, and not a cutting or final finishing pad. The wax wiped off easily with minimal dusting considering the weather in NY that day was in the 90’s and humid. I’d recommend this product to any pro or enthusiast. The results speak from themselves.
All work was done in the shade and underneath a canopy.
Before taking Mike's class, I was going to to do a one-step correction and then seal, but the All in One saved me so much time ( I know the swirls will come back after it comes back from the dealership).
CAUTION: You Can Not Apply a Ceramic Coating after using an All in One.
Prep Procedure:
1. Wheels/Tires cleaned with Meguiar’s D143 Non-Acid Wheel Cleaner (diluted 1:1)
2. Washed and Chemically decontaminated with CarPro Iron-X Snow Soap (used pressure washer foam gun)
3. Mech decon with Nanoskin Autoscrub Fine
4. Machine Apply Blackfire using Lake Country White Polishing Pad (followed directions on label) to entire vehicle, but in 2x2 sections. Used setting 5-6, and applied medium pressure to remove defects. Allowed product to dry to a haze and wiped off with plush microfiber towel.
5. Glass Cleaned with Sprayway Glass Cleaner (I use waffle weave towels on glass)
6. Plastic trim treated with Sonax Restorer Gel
After Results
Direct Sunlight (swirls minimized/removed)
Before in Sunlight with Swirls and Water Spots

Hi Alex,
It was a pleasure to have you in the class. Thank you for sharing your experience with the BLACKFIRE One Step, it is truly a top shelf cleaner/wax in all aspects.
Your pictures are not showing up?
I looked at the code and could not figure out what was going on? I can usually fix code errors.
If you e-mail me the pictures, I'll insert them where they would go.
