Re: LeMans Blue M5 reaches perfection

Awesome work. You breathed new life into that car. The wheels don’t even look like they are off the same car after you detailed them. Did you polish the wheels or just clean them?

I have this feeling your BMW workload is going to increase. Rightfully so, you nailed this one!

Yes sir. The overall system didn't correct as "fast" as I had hoped but it did what it says it will do, cut nice and finish extremely well. I still tend to preference Purple/Blue wool with ClearCut and then to circle back with a fine polish. Just as fast if not faster to correct. I see the UHS System as a good one to have in my cabinet though.

Wash soap on new details is just a cheap wally world soap given that in the begining nothing really matters much except removing the gunk. I will pre-treat stuck on road grime from the middle of the doors down with Super Clean degreaser though.

Just a strong cleaning and I sealed them up after with Ultima's Paint Guard Plus WOWA product. He has 2 other sets of wheels, including some really nice stock 19's that I'm going to be cleaning, polishing and coating and when he mounts the winter ones, we'll wheels-off detail these BBS ones.
