Re: 2007 Subaru STi gets the business
Looks beautiful, glad to see it doesn't have the famous air scoop paint failure. 06-07 are my favorite STIs.

Very nice, but I might be a little biased.

It's a function roof-scoop that takes air into the cabin since the vehicle does not have a sunroof. Lots of times you'll see them glued on but this one is real and functional. The car was done up right and is a fully built machine. He's got a lot in it as is. Laid down 480hp/450tq on a Mustang Dyno just last week. Tuned for E85 and 93 pump via a flex fuel kit. No lift shift, backfires with flames and loads of fun to drive.
STay tuned for this fall when the Big Turbo, FMIC and of course upgrades to the fuel system are done. Goal is 550-600AWHP.

The roof scoop comes from racing. It's how the drivers stay cool. They used to run it in WRC and it's function was to apply positive cabin pressure and force cabin heat out. You can see the threads year race car.... YouTube McCrae or Solberg.
