20?? Audi Convertible

Hello,

Lemme tell you, this car was rough. On top of it being swirled out, the paint was filthy, covered with fallout and iron particles. I am not sure the original owner or two ever had this car waxed or anything.

I hit it with an Orange LC thin pro pad and Wolfgang Uber compound. I probably got 70% correction? This was a case of how aggressive do I go, and how much paint do I take off? I went rather conservative. There were and still are LOTS of rids. But I got the paint clean and white again, and relatively shiny. I topped it off with Mckees37 High Def Paint sealant.

Gotta be somewhere in the 2001-2004 range. I had a 2004 a6 in the family and it had the same grille, lights and tail lights.

Nice job! That would be a B6 generation, 2003-2006. Not sure if the vert was offered all those years in the US though, may have only been through 2005 here.

They become money pits fast. Lights are a grand each to replace as the whole front bumper needs to come off. They were xenon at the time. Wheels were dirty every week from light driving

The car turned out great!! My only experience with an Audi ended up starting out with a rotary, wool pad, and HD Cut+.
