The MK part of lincoln is supposed to stand for Mark and the C, well you can figure that out but it had not worked out well for others. They are supposed to change the mkc name soon to something like the nautilus,aviator and navigator and continental.
The tailgate on these are hydroformed, its an expensive process that basically forms the metal with water cooling it down. Thw whole car rides on an escape chassis that has a 2 inch wider track and I think is an inch longer.
With a bit of improvements to the mkc it could really be a segment leader. Looks like you did a great job with the paint

When it's redesigned in a bout a year, the new name is reported to be the Lincoln Corsair.
