2018 Hellcat Widebody paint correction & CQuartz Finest Reserve detail

This brand new Hellcat widebody came to me with just 44 miles on the odometer. The dealer washed it and "detailed" it for the owner. Unfortunately they made a mess of the car. Swirl marks, buffer trails, holograms, scratches, compound splatter, greasy tire dressing flung everywhere. Start to finish this vehicle was about 70 hours in cleaning, paint correction, and ceramic coating and curing. Thankfully after all that work the car looked amazing and all the paintwork is protected for the next few years with CQuartz Finest Reserve ceramic coating. The wheels and calipers were also coated in multiple coats of CQuartz Finest Reserve. And all exterior plastics were coated in CQuartz Dlux coating to give a great look and protection for a very long time.

Haze from some DA sanding that also left its mark and was never correctly polished out






Fast forward a couple days and the wheels are done, calipers are done, wheel wells are no longer dripping in greasy tire dressing, and the paint correction process is nearing completion

That’s the protector for the transporter. Dealer typically removes them only are not supposed to remove them on demons

Excellent work, it looks amazing.

But I was thinking the same thing about that out of place yellow stripe, hideous is a good description.

How did you find the paint to be? Soft, hard or in between? And what products did you use during the correction steps?

Those reflection pics are unbelievable, did you use any filters on those? I am always bummed out when the paint only reflects like that at the perfect angle, distance, and light on my car

I be sad for the people who buy them a new car and then the dealership screw it up that bad.And I don't understand how the dealerships can go on with this behavior. I mean that you can sue for almost anything in the US. There is just a thin clearcoat this days you have on a car. And with that bad polishing you have to compound pretty much to get the damage gone after them. But do they get away with it they wont change their procedure.

Great that you pros is out there to help out the new car owners. And you do a very good job. It has been better if you only bad to do a finishing polish and protection on them and a small correction here and there.
